Biography
Jen’s passion is inspiring people to find their purpose and reach their potential. Jen is an organization development consultant with the Cobalt Group, where she helps people and organizations plan for their future and accomplish their goals. She is also co-founder of [thrive], a Cleveland-based social venture.
[thrive] is a radical new “happiness incubator,” designing highly-curated experiences, rooted in science, leading to greater individual and communal happiness. Jen, her business partner Scott Simon, and the most talented Creative Team ever, take people from local food experiences with mystery chefs, to contagious laughter, happiness practices, to random acts of kindness in public places, and lunch time dance parties in the heart of the city — and that’s just the beginning. www.thrivecleveland.com.Jen holds a Master’s of Social Science Administration (M.S.W.), a Master’s of Science in Positive Organization Development from Case Western Reserve University, and a B.A. in International Relations from Carleton College. She is also a certified yoga instructor.
When she has the chance, Jen loves practicing yoga, traveling around the world with her family, reading her book club’s latest book, and baking cakes.
Jen lives in Cleveland Heights with her husband, Dan, and two children.
